MISC: Ezra dresses to impress; always wearing various kinds of formal wear and keeping himself looking clean and tidy. After all, with such a shitty personality, his looks are basically the only thing he's got going for him.
PERSONALITY: There is many ways to describe Ezra, simply by the fact that he's not only two-faced, but several-faced. He's selfish, thinks himself self-important and naturally, loves every vice of being a vampire; He's a natural. Always have been. Ezra is arrogant, but also much more playful and witty than his blood sister, Ursula. Where she has the humor of a rock, Ezra finds himself witty and hilarious.
Ezra is charming, but also sarcastic - which more often than not proves to be a double-edged sword. Despite being out of this world charming, few people tend to like him once they get past the smirk and those dreamy blue eyes.
Ezra is cruel and rarely ever does anything for anyone, lest he has something to gain from it. Although not nearly as power hungry as his sister, Ezra has a tendency to feel drawn towards the idea of being on top. Although a decent fighter, he would much rather prefer using words to defuse a situation.
Thankfully, being charming isn't the only good quality Ezra seem to have; he's smart and calculating, albeit a little petty and childish, but none the worse for wear. He has somewhat of a sadistic view on the world and always finds humor and pleasure in those less fortunate. He sees himself as superior and sees the human race as nothing more than a means to an end; Bloodbags, cattle, food - you get the picture.
With all of his flaws, there's an even longer list of more; Ezra isn't the kind of person who cares easily. Not quite a sociopath, though as far as apathy goes, Ezra is damn close. He loves pestering people and getting a rise out of them and his long list of enemies grows longer each time he opens his mouth - which is all the time, by the way.
Despite his usual inability to care, he does tend to pay attention to things (or people) who intrigue, humor or amuse him - though his attention span hasn't always been described as flattering. The same thing goes about respect; it's hard to earn and even harder to maintain. The only person Ezra has ever been loyal to is his blood sister, Ursula and she'll likely be the only one to ever stay on that list.
Ezra is a flirt with huge commitment issues which doesn't stem from fear, but boredom. Finding someone who'd actually get his interest would be one thing, but maintaining it for more than a night? Well, ladies; Good luck with this one.

Born in France in 1913 to Roland and Lucie Lemercier. Ezra grew up with two sisters, one older and one younger, though neither of the siblings had the best of relationships. Otherwise, life was fairly normal - his family was neither rich, nor poor and they made by. As the trio grew, they quickly learned that running through life being simple children wouldn't do for very long. First, the older sister was promised away to a soldier and shortly after, the younger one was promised and shortly after, married to a priest.
Ezra on the other hand, through his teens, had earned quite the bad reputation and finding a woman eligible (or rather one he could be loyal towards and not pissing off) turned out to be quite the troublesome task for his parents.
Thankfully, during this era, Ezra would inherit everything that his parents had once he came of age, so he had very little worries. But still, young at heart with a free floating soul, Ezra wanted to travel. And so he joined the military - which was his longest (current) commitment until he reached the age of twenty eight and during a late night at some shady bar, he met the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid his eyes on and she would end up changing his entire life - for the better.
Ursula, the woman who would quickly become his blood linked sister and their sire, Celeste - both breathtakingly beautiful and naturally, Ezra was immediately drawn towards them. And so began the next several decades of Ezra's new life.
Life continued like this; traveling across the world only the three of them and learning each other to know. Though, once the plague struck, Ezra and Ursula had somewhat of a falling out with their sire and haven't seen Celeste ever since. During the time of the plague, Ursula and Ezra reveled in the fact that they no longer had to stay hidden in the shadows and during the next sixty years, they found themselves nicely seated among the higher ups within Old Chicago - as one of many lords and duchesses.
And such is life for Ezra Lemercier. Though, power is such a addictive little thing. Nothing is ever enough and it doesn't matter how you go about getting it.♦ THE PLAYER ♦
